IR. MOHD ASHARI ALIAS

Ir. Mohd Ashari Alias is a Non-executive Director of Rapid Penang Sdn Bhd. He was appointed to the Board of Directors on 17 May 2007. He is a qualified professional engineer who is registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and is also a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, USA.

Mohd Ashari Alias had served the government under the Ministry of Defense Malaysia from 1986 to 1996. He later left for the private sector and joined United Engineers (M) Group, a GLC. He has a wide knowledge and experience in project management, operations management, research and development as well as business development. He is currently seconded to the office of the Finance Minister II as the Special Projects Coordinator.
