PUAN SITI FARIDAH BINTI HAJI ARSHAD

Siti Faridah bt Hj Arshad was born February 22, 1961 in Penang. She was educated at the Sekolah Menengah Kampung Batu, Kuala Lumpur. She then continued her education at the Maktab Perguruan Perempuan Melayu Melaka. Married to Mohd Bohari bin Rashid, she is blessed with 3 daughters. Siti Faridah joined the civil service as a teacher in 1985 after the completion of her studies.

She is now the Deputy Wanita Umno for Balik Pulau. Actively Involved in politics, her involvement extends to various clubs, associations and NGOs. Her posts include being the Chairman of the Rumah Nur Daerah Barat Daya, Chairman of the Jawantankuasa Pelancongan Minat Khas Negeri Pulau Pinang, Chairman of the Badan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Daerah Barat Daya, Chairman of the Badan Kebajikan K2 Barat Daya and the Chairman of the Majlis Hal Ehwal Pengguna peringkat daerah Barat Daya.
